Adapted to multi-process inspection of overseas production lines
As the integration of optical modules increases, the inspection standards for COC/DB/WB processes become increasingly stringent. Manual visual inspection and 2D vision are difficult to meet the quality inspection requirements for the 3D appearance of bonding wires.
To this end, QTing Technology has implemented a variety of AOI equipment in its factory in Thailand to automatically collect images and identify defects, effectively consolidating the quality inspection capabilities of overseas automated production lines and greatly improving product quality.

Adapted to high-precision inspection of the appearance of optical module chips and PCB substrates, it can automatically identify surface defects such as gold-plated pad scratches, stains, tin stains, and foreign matter, improving the detection capabilities of micro-size and low-contrast defects.
2. 3D precision measurement
Equipped with a self-developed absolute precision measurement system, it can reconstruct the 3D shape of the gold wire with high precision, obtain the line arc height, radian and spatial coordinates, and achieve comprehensive detection of various WB defects.
3. Zero negative sample AI rapid adaptation
QTing adopts zero-negative sample AI training, which greatly reduces the demand for real defect samples and accelerates the implementation of new products and new processes. The system supports seamless connection with MES, unified management and control of inspection data, and completes full-process quality traceability.

Moving from stand-alone equipment to full-process quality control
This Thailand delivery project deployed an integrated AOI solution covering the entire process. The solution supports on-demand customization of detection modules and can realize online quality monitoring of the entire process section from DB to WB.
In the future, QTing will continue to promote the large-scale deployment of full-process AOI solutions in domestic and overseas production lines to further improve production line efficiency and detection stability.
